Lieutenant’s Heart

Lamprocapnos spectabilis or Bleeding Heart is the inspiration behind this piece. In Norwegian it is called “Løynantshjerte” which translate into Lieutenant’s Heart.  As children we would spend hours looking at how the flowers bobbed in the wind or how the dew collected at the tip of the tiny hearts.

If you peel off the first layer of petals, you will find a girl in white undergarments and if you peeled off the last layer  you could find a bottle of Champagne.

Measurements : 3.8 cm  / 29 grams !
